Incredible !!!!!!!! I love you Microsoft Tech Support.
I can not believe it but I've just spent 5 hours and 3 minutes on the telephone with Microsoft Technical Support!!! My hat is off to those guys and I have an entirely new level of respect for their knowledge and expertise.
They set up a link to seize control of my laptop remotely from the Philippines and I've been watching them work diligently several hundred places that I didn't even know computers had.
Without them I the blog was dead for this trip. I cannot thank you enough Sharon, Mark and Richard at Microsoft. If I could repay you somehow, I'd be happy to do so.
It's 01:13 a.m. and I'm off to bed. This has taken up the most of two days and really thrown me behind. I want to thank everyone for your comments and especially you Dan for your offer to ship me a temporary replacement. For you to offer that was over the top and I can't thank you enough. Goodness knows, I wouldn't have done it for you.....haaaaaaaaaa.. I'd ship you back to Jackson on a bus or train or something, by yourself. :-) Just kidding.
God knows I'll never get this blog caught up but I'll try to create another post sometime tomorrow now that the virus is taken care of.
Night................
P.S. First bear sighting today, but more on that later.

Mack, glad to see your PC’s back up and running and you didn’t lose everything. I waved at you as I flew over on my way to Seattle but I’m sure you didn’t see me. You should know that yellow freedom machine was easy to spot from 35K ft as you crused through Eastern Montana (good thing there’s no speed limit on those roads!) It’s also a good thing I didn’t have my machine shipped out here like I planned because I’d be heading north to meet you instead of back to Jackson.
